I’m having a count down now for the upcoming PC fair. I’m actually excited and curious at the same time as to how low the prices can really get. We’re not planning to shop till we drop since its the era of economic crises ( LOL!) but it’s just timely that we needed some of these gadget stuff like for a 1 or 2 GB micro sd ( would you believe that we’re only using a 512 MB SD card and it’s not ours by the way), some ink cartridges or refill for our printer, an optical mouse and hopefully a portable dvd rom for my netbook. Well, it all depends on their prices now. Hopefully, we could get everything within our budget. Do you want to know how much I budgeted for this? When I told my HUbby about my budget, he just laughed it off and said, ” You must be kidding!” Hahahah! So, I guess my budget is far too low and far too embarrassing so I won’t be sharing it here in the web..LOL! Well. nothing is impossible and all the BEST to me!

Everything Online July 24, 2009
I’m continually amazed by the online world. We can get to buy everything online now, even the famous Malaysian Nasi Lemak! 🙂
Just a month ago, I had to look for a travel insurance agent because the travel agency that gave me the free travel to Northern Thailand ( my contest prize) required every traveler to have one. So, I asked my Hubby if he knows anyone here in Taiping who sells travel insurance but he doesn’t have any idea too.
That led me to search about it and thankfully, I can travel the travel and health insurance online at a good price. That site is actually Malaysian based and they do all kinds of insurance including life insurance quotes.

Our li’l girl has been desiring and praying that our soon to be new house when we move will have a garden. Actually, we are only going back to the country where we will be based in December and only then we will start looking for a house.
She wants to have garden because she wants to plans some vegetable and flowers in it. Oh, I certainly don’t have a green thumb but the idea of having a front lawn for a house seems to appeal me now. Maybe then through the influence of my li’l girl we can have a small garden, an outdoor sitting place complete with a table, chairs with outdoor furniture covers and torch where we can sit and relax in the evenings.
Maybank Debit Visa Card for Paypal July 23, 2009
The Maybank Debit Visa card has actually been around for quite sometime now but it was only recently where they enabled it to be used for Paypal transactions. Actually, I really thought that this service has been going on for a long time, but I was proven wrong as I read through some past reviews of Maybank Debit visa card holders.
Our friend just applied for a Maybank Debit Visa Card the other day and he immediately enrolled it for his Paypal. He’s just now waiting for his 4 digit code to be reflected on this account. I’m also looking forward to find out whether it’s possible to withdraw money ( from Paypal) using the same card since I’ve heard a lot of failed attempts from the other in the past.
On the other hand, I would have to try to enroll our Maybank Debit Visa card myself. But before that, I still have to find out whether it’s possible for me to do so since the account that I’m using is a joint account.
Anyways, let me do that now and I’ll update you with the developments later.
Oh, by the way, if you’re using the old black and yellow Maybank (normal) ATM card and wish to have the new Visa Debit Card, you can do so for a charge of 12 RM.
Are you a pet lover? I used to be but as I grew older I found it quite a hassle to take care of pets. Imagine, taking care of them as if they’re your kids; bathing them, feeding them, letting them get enough exercise and frequent trips to the pet shop to give them their supplies may it be dog supplies, cat supplies or whatever. Not to mention, it’s also quite costly maintaining them.
Anyways, I guess this proves that having pets is still far from our minds these days. But I know this will soon change as our kids get older and when they want to take care of their own pets too.
